About this Item These Genuine Issued USMC Chest Rigs are constructed with heavy-duty Nylon Cordura material. The Quick-Release, Lightweight Mag Pouches are designed to hold M4/M16 magazines. The chest rig can be used on its own or be compatible with the IOTV and SPCS systems. It is a Genuine US Military Issue, Made in the USA, with the NSN: 8465-01-584-5668.
These chest rigs, also known as (TAP) Vests, replace the FLC to allow for quick-release of equipment in emergencies. The TAP is compatible with the quick-release system of the Improved Outer Tactical Vest (IOTV) and Soldier Plate Carrier System (SPCS).
